Extracurricular Activity Assistance Program

Bridge Credit Union is awarding monetary assistance for students in Grades 3-12 to assist with out of pocket fees associated with extracurricular activities. See eligibility requirements below.

  • Eligibility

    1. Assistance will be awarded to credit union members only and are meant to cover the costs not covered by other sources such as: boosters; grants; and fundraisers. Awards will be distributed quarterly. 2. Assistance money is meant to cover the costs associated with extracurricular activities, such as band, sports, club’s, cheerleading, and testing. 3. Awarded assistance money will be payed directly to the appropriate organization, club or school. Checks will not be paid to individual students or members. 4. To apply for assistance applicants must have a Youth Account with Bridge Credit Union. Applicants must remain a member in good standing in this credit union. 5. Applications must be completed within the submission period to be considered for the applicable award month. 6. Applicants will be selected randomly. Not all applicants will be awarded, however applicants may reapply during next Application Submission Period. Awards and amounts are at the discretion of the credit union. This program is subject to change at any time without notice. 7. Up to one thousand ($1,000) will be awarded each quarter ($4000 per year). A maximum of $250 will be awarded per year per youth/student, not to exceed cost of activity. 8. There is no limit on the number of children in a family eligible to receive assistance in a year. 9. Employees, Board Members and their immediate family members, including household members, are ineligible to apply. Immediate family is defined as spouse, children, grandchildren and parents. Credit unions are not-for-profit financial institutions owned and democratically-controlled by their members.
